Traveling by Road

  • Car

    Getting here by car is a breeze along the smooth, four-lane Highway 19 North, a 90-minute drive from Nanaimo’s ferry terminals, or add another two hours when traveling here along the Trans Canada Highway (#1) from Victoria.

  • Bus

    If you’re taking the bus, there are numerous bus companies to choose from, such as Island Link Bus/Island Link Express, Greyhound, or Tofino Bus/Vancouver Island Connector.

Traveling by Ferry

  • From the BC Mainland

Traveling by Air

  • Soar over islands, sea, and mountains en route to Campbell River. Daily scheduled flights arrive at Campbell River Airport (YBL) from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and other areas. Car rentals are available.

    The Comox Valley Airport (YQQ), located 40 minutes south of Campbell River, is a full-service terminal with service to Bella Bella, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, and seasonal service to Puerto Vallarta. Central Mountain Air, Pacific Coastal, and WestJet all offer daily nonstop flights from YQQ.

  • Float Plane

    If you’re coming from the US, you can fly to Seattle International Airport, where Kenmore Air can meet your flight and take you to their facility on Lake Washington.   • Private Plane or Helicopter

    Land your private plane at the Campbell River Airport (YBL), and our front desk staff can arrange your transportation needs. Dolphins Resort is only a 12-minute drive from the airport. If you have a private helicopter, you can land it right here at Dolphins Resort.
