Campbell River is located...
on the central East Coast of Vancouver Island about 3 hours drive North of Victoria, BC's beautiful capital city, or about 1 1/2 hours drive North of Nanaimo. Car ferries from mainland BC are available to both of these Vancouver Island cities.
Once you're in Campbell River, follow signs North on Hwy 19 towards Port Hardy. When you cross the bridge over the Campbell River, watch for a sign on the right hand side of the road to Dolphins Resort.

Make the most of the drive to Campbell River by exiting Highway 19 and continuing North along Oceanside Route Highway 19A. It's further to drive (almost 4 hours) but there are long stretches along the waterfront with pleasant rest and meal stops along the way.
