Car: Getting here is a breeze at upwards of 120 kmph (75 mph) along the smooth, four lane Highway 19 North. Take the 90 minute drive (153 kilometres / 95 miles) from Nanaimo's ferry terminals, or add another two hours to the equation when traveling here along the Trans Canada Highway (#1) north from Victoria (264 kilometres / 165 miles).
